    Hi Jill!

    How are you? Congratulations on your latest work of art! I have listened to mere fragments on the internet of what I can tell will be one of your most phenomenal works yet. I diarized your album release in my physical and mental calendar, and have told everyone I know (fan or not) that your album is dropping, so watch out!
    The big day has now arrived, and as soon as the stores opened this morning, I was there before going into work, searching and searching for your CD, but alas, the search has rendered itself fruitless. Unfortunately, as it turns out, your Toronto fans will not be able to purchase your latest work for days, perhaps even weeks, because the leading music outlet in Canada (HMV) claims to be at a dischord with your label, and will not receive the shipment in as soon as I would like (i.e. now). I would ordinarily pursue the bureaucratic avenues set in place by HMV for their dissatisfied customers, but I thought I might appeal to you first. I thought you might be able to offer me some kind words to will me into being patient until your album arrives in Canada. I also thought I would make your label aware, and kindly plead with them to send a shipment of your latest work, and soon! We miss you up here, Jill, and I suppose, I will have to patiently wait to hear your wonderful “Words”. Thanks for taking time.

    I love you! I have all of your music and will continue enhande my collection with all that you grace with your spirit. I heard you on the Tom Joyner morning show as I drove in to work today and thought to check out this site. Glad I did, I want to ask if you’ve ever had a desire to launch a clothing line? You have a tasteful and trendy flava about yourself and I’d love to go to a shop that caters to sizes 14 & 16. Wow to imagine building my wardrobe with some cute, sexy and business attire with tasteful flava! The clothing and fashion industry makes “us” ample girls feel that we’re out of sync only offering the non-cute clothing options that forces us to dress OLD, or in flowers or fish! Just a thought, I wished there were a Jill Scott Line or a Jill Scott clothing store that I could go to and by my clothes from.

    May God continue to bless and show his favor on you! We’re holding it down in Houston for you.

    I left my husband this year in February after being with him 17 years. I’d like to tell you to hold you head up and I hope that you live in the peace of a free spirit since ending your marriage. You’d think I lived under a rock, I only heard about it this morning on my drive in………Go head girl!

    This CD is the best that you have ever done! We experience changes in our life for a reason. Don’t know why….. just enjoy life’s ride that it is taking you now Jill with your family and true friends. Somethings are done for a reason and we don’t know why. We must go forward and just accept everything that is happening in our life. You wrote the songs that express what you were going thru and now you can go forward but still can take a peak back and remember some goods things. Thank your for this outstanding CD! Divorce is needing new space and room to grow. This CD is excellent you took time to write and express your true feelings. You are a true person with so much personality. At first, I was really vibin’ with the beat, but when I saw that tear fall from your face at the end of the video it really haunted me. I had to call my wife to ask her for forgiveness and it made me pray to God to forgive me for all the hearts I broke - intentionally or otherwise.      I am of fan of everything you do and I am glad to see you hitting the movie scene in a big way. I think we all got a glimpse of your talent in the show Girlfriends but were blown away in “Why did I Get Married?”, you are a natural. I must admit you had me in tears I guess in a way I was able to relate.I have to say the song I relate to the most on Vol. 3 is No. 7 “My Love”. Oh my goodness this SONG is exactly what I went through constantly in my head. I can relate to it a little bit too much lol. “Whatever” (live in Paris) is also a hit with my repeat button.
