When I saw Jilly From Philly on VH1 Soul LIVE & she came out with THE REAL THING, CHILLS RAN DOWN MY NECK & SPINE!!! I said that I couldnt wait to get the CD, because of how POWERFUL her performance is singing that song!! I mean Jill LIVE COMMANDS your ears to take in her FLOW & BLOW OUT WHATEVER SPEAKERS you are using to accept her sound. Can you clue me on on where this event you will be performing at in Charlotte would love to be there. Is it at Jazz Cafe? Club Tempo. I know you probably dont worry about that type of thing. You just go where they have you set up. But your website went from TBA to private event. So I figure it must be a small venue.

I have loved your music from the very first time I heard you. I love the fact that you are honest. More than anything it is your strengh and your ability to believe in yourself despite what others say about you!!!! I have been having a lot of conversations lately with people who are creating a life from their hearts, but they are getting flack from people in their environments because they do have the strengh and courage to do this. However, they are having doubts about thier true paths because they have desenters among them, much like you. I encourage them to still believe in themselves and their strengh and their path, and not allow these people to bring them down. I was at the “elysée montmartre”, 2 years ago, I’ll be at the “bataclan” the 25 of november. When I listen to u, it’s like a dream… thank you for these incredible moments.
I thought no one could love her man so deeply and intimately through depths of the soul, through the dynamics of personality and idiosyncrasies more than me until Jill Scott came along. In fact, she exquisitely and eloquently expressed my love emotions so much so that I felt vindicated and obligated and renewed in expressing my love just as I felt it unapologetically. Unfortunately, sadly, painfully and yet gratefully, too, I am without my man, my hero, my partner, my friend. How can a love that felt so good like it would never ever end even through the ups and downs of the Love Rollercoaster be gone? The tumultuous spectrum of emotions pouring in and out of me surprise everyone and including me as I began to see me’s I didn’t know, as I struggle to become the old me long gone to regain comfort and control and as I becoming a new me to celebrate. Ms Jill Scott and I seem to have taken a similar journey together again.

Jill truly is the real thing went to see her here in ATLANTA she was worth every dime. Phenomenal voice, I haven’t heard such a strong overwhelming, finger popping, hand clapping, feet tapping live singer such a jill since Whitney Houston..It was a sheer pleasure to be in her presence.
Jill Scott is true medicine for those that love, want to be love and desire to maintain true love. Each time she’s in Atlanta, i make it my business to be in the place. I saw Jill this year at the end of August at Chastain and was also privileged to see her make a sneak peak appearance at Erykah Badu’s concert featurung the Roots at the FOX in May. Only strong adjectives should be used to describe this DIVA and song……. Phenomenal, Superior, Gifted, Spiritual and the list goes on and on! Thanks Jill for bringin it and making it mo betta’.
