   Jill Scott has made Precious Ramotswe come to life inThe No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency . My 88 yo mother adores the series. How fortunate to find “the” original, one and only Precious. Please please keep up the role. You bring dignity, eloquence, humanity, grace plus entertainment to the world. You cannot be this role without having many of those qualities as a part of who you are as a person. Thank you for this gift. Congratulations on having a healthy baby.

   Miss Scott, I think that you are AWESOME!!!! I have three daughters 11,8,&3 and we watch your detective show on HBO every time its on. I always try teach my girls something new EVERY DAY, and when we watch your show i tell them how much of a LADY, WOMEN , and all around AWESOME person. They just love it.     Hey “Jillie” from “Philly”. I have, since you came out with “Who is Jill Scott”, been a VERY big fan of your music and style. I have since become a child of the Most High and I don’t want to waiver from music that is edifying the Glory of God. My question and where I am headed with this conversation is “have you thought about singing only gospel music”? Jill, God would love to hear your praises. Your voice is a gift from God so wouldn’t you want to give Him the best of what He gave you in the first place? This is a Love email because I have always loved your music but I have been convicted to not listen to your music because it makes me want to do things that are against the express will of God. If I was married I would be okay but I think an ultimate gift to your Creator would be to give Him back what He has given you.

    I just wanted to share some genuine love with you during the Black History Month. Now, what starting this thought was my 13yr old daughter who adores dance and music.

    My daugter was ask to choose her favorite musician for her Social Studies class, and she said I know already who I will do a Biography on. Then , she said Jill Scott. I said my Jill Scott (meaning you are my favorite artist who I listen to daily), she replied Yesss, she’s awesome !!

    I listened to your interview with Tony Harrison of CNN and also read your article on Essence about our struggle as black people and fellow brothers marrying white women. I just want say thank you. Tears rolled down my eyes when i read you and i am still wondering when we will have more people like you who can stand up for the struggle.
    However, what do you think about sisters who think very little of fellow brothers?

    Hi Jill! I adore your image as a beautiful and intelligent black woman. I also love your exceptional line of Butterfly bras at Ashley Steward. However, I wish that I could fit your bras. Furthermore, the problem is that I have a band size that measures 38 and and cup size is a gg. I had a breast reduction about a year and a half ago. Still, I am unable to fit traditional sized bras. I live in a town that does not cater to women my size in the specialty stores. I would love for you to extend your cup sizes in the butterfly bra. Also, I would love to model or be a co-spokesperson for your line of bras. May you continue in your successes and endeavors. Peace my sister!

You should seriously give it some thought, that mess Berry did in the 70’s was a joke, he had no clue on who Billie really was, stay beautiful

    As I sit in the house… entirely dissapointed that I had the chance to maybe make it to the show tonight at United Center… They still even had the $31 tickets avaliable… As i knew about the concert from an ad in a Mag at the barbershop couple weeks ago… i knew then i couldnt afford to buy the seats I wished to have, but i slipped the date my back pocket… Cause a few wishes and prayers I’d maybe be able to at least feel ur spirit from the nose bleeds… However Jill, this MF of a lover of mine made me even miss the last minute oppounity to get there on the CP plan… Right now I’m soooo pissed I bet this aint even connecting to make a lot of sice… but nonetheless as my brain is in Jill mode… to make myself feel better, cause you know he’s gettin nothin but shade/silent treatment right now and he can kiss my ass till i come down. I wanted to let ya know that… I have lived for ur music, the energy and spirit u evoke that Ive noticed from a distance for years now.. Yes I am some obsessed freak for you, but a safe one and all I needed to today was to be inspired… never been to a music concert, never wanted too really, but you… I’ am determined if what I feel. see, and hear in your music and publilcity is this genuine spirit an air of grace beyound words… I will one day b within ur presence… Its the air girl, you have an air I’ve admired so much that its even hard to put into words… If you out an about in the Hyde Park torrw… Stop in Toys Etc..
