Im so happy this movie is on DVD…..i loved the role she played in it, she’s so talented
My favorite scene is when Jill loses the weight and sees the mistress in the bathroom! Then, when she is talking to other ladies about her journey in the hotel room at the ceremony!
Tears in the eyes, I HAD!!!
Also when her and Troy are in the restaurant and they kiss
Looooove that whole scene
you know what the best part in the movie had me rolling remember she was sitting behind the counter at the grneral mills store and troy walked in with a box she walked over to him as he took off his jacket you saw him in tee shirt and he was hanging up clothes talking to shield she was in a daze checking out his body and my song i want you by marvin gaye came on real loud that scene was funny

You were EXCELLENT in Why Did I Get Married, as was the entire cast. May I ask a question though. it seems apparent that there is some diverted attention in the movie to Janet Jackson – which is fine. I know you are a very humble woman that probably knows Janet personally, and hopes that her image can be positively rebuilt by her wonderful performance in this movie as well…
But why are you not at all in the movie’s extras or even interviewed regarding this movie. You were AMAZING in it… As were all the actresses/ actors, but you’re the only one not interviewed? Anyone know anything ???
I doubt there is beef. Ms. Scott is too good for that. Just wondering what it is? You just insanely busy

I had the pleasure of meeting Lamman Rucker in St. Louis, MO 01-20-08 at King’s Dream Awards and Black and White Gala. He was such a gentleman. I can only image what he was like while he was being himself on the set, because he was a playful, strong black man that couldn’t hide his array of kindness. Dear Ms. Scott
I really enjoyed your character because I could identify with her very well. I had a similar situation in a previous marriage that took me through some real mental changes. But I must say that is not the case now I have been blessed with a husband that loves me for me and I do “Wake up with so much joy in my heart.” Thank you for the inspiration that you have given to persue what ever is in your heart to do. Congrats on your weight loss, keep up the outstanding job.
