   I went to your concert march 2. More beautiful in person than the pictures. An elegant lady with such grace and dilegence. The queen of “epiphany” my new poem. I could not get enough of the jill scott experience. Jill i was calling you and you turned about and blew a kiss and said i love you. Man I am a big fan and i will always remember that. I always liked your singing but to hear you in person words can’t describe. You inspired me. I’m a writer as well. So it made me look at my own dreams b/c the only one holding me back is my worse enemy, “me”. Keep doing what you do touching lives.. and i look forward to your next works in the future. Love you and wish you peace love and happiness…

   oh and p.s. the single just want to be loved. We all do so i’m sure everyone can relate to it.. it’s one of my favorites…. Jill bears her soul in her music i can feel it. She’s unafraid to say what she feels. I look up to her for that.

   I love the song, I’ve played it on my cd player on many times I think i’ve burned the cd out. I went to her concert on March 5th in Newark and all I can say is that she is so beautiful in person that its hard to put into words. She is a true artist that speaks the truth. It felt like every word and song touched me personally. I’ve loved her music since she first came onto the scene, and seeing her in person makes me love her and her music even more.

   I experienced your concert February 22nd in Atlanta. Jill Scott is just amazing. “Wanna be loved” is one of my favorites. The words, the music, the melody is outstanding.

   Brilliant! That is the only word to describe this phenomenal artist. Jill Scott is a true artist and I absolutely love her music. “Wanna Be Loved” is one of my absolute favorites. It speaks to many of us who are praying we find that special person.

   I love this song! When I first heard the CD, this one by far stood out as one of my favorites. This is a song that I believe resonates with everyone. At the end of the day, we just wanna be loved and LOVE is a principle factor in life.

    Wanna Be Loved is one of my favorite Jill songs, as are ALL of the songs on The Real Thing, CD. The CD was wriiten for me, as if she were in my head. After listening to each track I thought, “I was just gettin’ ready to say that!” I had the pleasure of seeing my SISTA on March 5th in Newark and it was truly a blessing. She sang all of my jams old and new. She closed the show with a song, “Do you understand what I’m saying to you?” I had an epiphany! I UNDERSTAND MAMA! I’m a writier and I have been procratinating, but look out world, because I have been INSPIRED! Thank you GURL!

    Jill, I attended your concert in London in early December and I was totally blown away. It was THE BEST concert I ever attended in my life (and in my line of work, I go to a lot of concerts featuring artists across many genres). Glad that Wanna Be Loved is heading up the charts, not surprised at all. I’m now looking forward to your appearance in the Alexander McCall Smith movie that’s due to run in the UK on Easter weekend.     ive never seen jill live…but it doesnt matter cuz i dont feel deprived..ive still been so wonderfully exposed to her spirituality and wisdom and soul and beat and funk.ever since i seen a video of her song a long walk on mtv i was like wow ..whats this..got my hands on all her stuff now and i dont think ive ever been educated in a more pleasurable way…and just wanna be loved..is like my life journey..im sure everyone feels a connection with whats shes saying..and after watching that interview with her on the deluxe edition of the real thing …i just wanna take time out of my life to tell her..jill ur amazing..and i thank you for all the lessons u have given me to be a better woman and a better lover…and all the haters..i just laugh at them…cuz they got no idea what theyre missing.peace out to philly

    “Wanna Be Loved” is by far one of my favorites on “The Real Thing” Cd. I saw her in concert on March 5th at NJPAC in Newark. Jill is so real and not afraid to express her feelings. I can really dig that! Great Job!

    First off let me just start by saying……………….. I just got back from the concert, and MY GOD!!! Jill killed, no excuse me MURDERED IT!!! Then to top it all off, she had the ordasity to bring out DC’s own CHUCK BROWN, and then my man Chuck killed it w/ Jilly. It was so wonderful, but I missed “And I Heard”. But that’s okay, because my black ass is getting another ticket for Friday. I’M OUT HOLLA!!!!!

    I must say “Wanna Be Loved” was my favorite song from the start…..I just saw her perform in Philly on March 7 and Jilly did the “thang”!! I was so proud of her. She blessed Philly with her gift and I am truly grateful and blessed to have seen that performance!! Bravo Jilly Jill.

    The reason itis taking off so well is that people world wide feel as Jill feels, they just want to be loved. This message relates to singles in need and searching for true love, as well as couples who feel at times the abscence of love in being neglected, taken advantaged of, abused, ignored, etc. There’s a lot of emptiness out there. Although we have friends and relatives that love us, their love cannot replace the intimate love that takes place between a man and woman. This is speaking from the social to the sensual side of the relationship, the simple to the complex. As easy as sharing a walk in the park to sharing ones most intimate thoughts. Yes, we all want to be loved, and Jills brings that emotion to the surface through her song .     I went to see Jill Scott last night in DC. What a beautiful woman. It was great to experience a fresh breath of positivity. Glorious, Phenomenal, Empowering and such a LADY!!! You go Jill it was worth every dime..I will see you again in the very very near future.
    Wanna Be Loved was performed last night! It ROCKS!!! Everyone can relate to the lyrics.

    I am totally loving that song. Just want to be loved. I totally understand the lyrics and i can really relate to the whole song. I love jill scott. I think that she is a positive inspiration for real women in today society. I really loved her in the movie ” WHY DID I GET MARRIED” I beleave that she played here role. Again the song just want to be loved is one of my favorite songs on the cd.

    When I first got the CD, Wanna be Loved, was my favorite song and still is. I repeated that song over and over, at home in tha car. When we forget about all the superficial things in life, bullsh*t, we are taught to value, in reality all humans just wanna be loved. It is important to show lovetand be willing to accept love in our life.

    Experienced Ms. Scott March 5th in New Jersey. Loved it Loved it Loved it. Ms. Scott you are wonderful. I have been a fan forever. Wanna Be Loved is one of my favorites in fact I have more than 10 on that CD which is unusual for most artists. I pray to God that you do not have to experience any more hate or hurt to continue to deliver perfection. You are a genuine songstress and I love you. My kids on the other hand are hating on you big time since you took over the CD player everywhere in the house and on the road. lol They’ll get over it or grow up and move out…..JILL SCOTT STAYS!!!!

    “Wanna Be Loved” is definitely one of my favorite as well as “Whenever your around”. Jill Scott has proved she is here to stay unlike some of the one hit wonder divas. I can listen to her albums over and over and they are in heavy rotation in my car and home system. I can’t wait to see her in concert for the Essence Festival cause I know she will tear it down. I just moved into my new home in New Orleans,La and had just moved back in February 2008 needless to say I am still doing minor finishing touches on my home and for now I only have my stereo in the house until it is complete and trust me I am sure my neighbors say to themselves ” that lady sure does love to bump Jill Scott all day long.” lol that’s because Jill Is the S**t ya heard me! Love ya Jill and God Bless you. Ps. You were exceptional in “WHY DID I GET MARRIED” and by the way I saw the movie with my EX-Fiancee noticed I said EX.     I just saw Jill Saturday night, March 22nd in Chicago and she gives from her heart and soul when she performs. I just knew she wasnt’ going to sing “I Just Wanna Be Loved” but she did and it was FAB-U-LOUS, just like every other song she sang.     Last weekend I hustled back to Chicago from DC on business. Missed Jill in DC, but was able to get hooked up by a friend to see her Sunday night show. She was on point as usual. This show was my fifth Jill Show since 2000. I have hit her show every time she has been in Chicago. As usual I was moved by her captivating performance and the “Real” woman effort that she always puts forth. I thought I could catch her again this week 3/28/08 in Memphis, but my business trip got cancelled. Jill and the rest of the Family, keep it hot and coming. If you get a chance to see her in concert, even if it is an intimate setting like the House of BLues, EVERYBODY GO!!!!

    I really think it’s great that “Wanna Be Loved” is being played on the radio without Hidden Beach promoting the song….. that just goes to show how much Ms. Jill Scott is very talented at what she does best….. when the radio plays the song without promoting it that’s when you know your cd is hot….. Gurl you know your cd is HOT!!!!! lol….. now that’s what i call a true diva!!!! and i love all your cd’s and have all of them….. The Real Thing stays in my car!!!!     This happens to be one of my favorite songs on the Real Thing album. Though to me most of the songs are love ballads, that i at this time can’t relate to, because I personally have never been in a serious relationship. But I understand every meaning and the depth of her music.
