   I think it’s great that celebrities are make strides to make subtle differences in the lives of everyday people and utilizing their fortune fame to impact in a positive way. Yes, African Americans spend money and our opinion on consumer buying counts but we must make our concerns heard and she’s in a great position to make small changes as in what alot of women have been spending their money on uncomfortable clothing for decades. Kudos to Jill once again!

   I think this is a fantastic idea! I wear a 38-DD, and I’ve noticed that I have a ridge in each shoulder from the straps of my traditional bras digging in. I know that support should come the band, and your band design not only fixes the “back fat” problem, but also looks like it gives more support where it is needed so the shoulder straps don’t do the work! I can’t wait to try a Butterfly!

   oh you know im all over it like yesterday. all im asking is that if you do it make sure that you add sizes over DDD like E, F, G, and so on. I have loads of friends who are top heavy and dont want to have surgery. we want cute panties and bras like the ‘lil ladies. and girl make sure we got cute colors too. we have to have cute colors.

   I think this bra is a GREAT invention!! There are no Ashley Stewart stores in my area and you can’t order offline (Which I don’t understand why! IT’S THE 21ST CENTURY AND ASHLEY STEWART NEEDS TO ALLOW ITS CUSTOMERS TO MAKE PURCHASES FROM THEIR STORE ONLINE!)

   Does anyone know how far up the sizes go???

   Are we talking DD to DDD, 32-50 or what?

   yve kemp, you are so rightg!!!! I hate that as a fabulous fat chick (Note: FAT is how I describe my body type – me, personally, myself – no offense to anyone. I know not every big woman accepts and/or uses the word fat when describing herself, but this is just how I d o for me.) I usually end up having to wear Grandma panties and black and navy blue and beige and nude-colored bras. Can a sista get something like a see-thru lace fuschia panty/bra set?

    Let me just say this one thing…Jill u are a GoD SENT!!!!!!

    Seriously woman, the blessings God works through you don’t stop. I thank him for you!! You have no idea how beneficial an invention like this is. This is cutting edge and I believe it can change the lives of alot of ppl. I know some of you are thinking, how can a bra change someone’s life…you’d be surprised. Yes the internal of a person is the #1 important entity…but your external appearance matters as well. When you feel and look beautiful, you tend to enjoy life much much more. Like my Jill says, you get out more, you want to dance more, you want to LIVE more!! And that’s the key to happiness. (In my opinion)

    I believe the “REAL” woman, is tired of being put on the back burner and being told she isn’t beautiful. FINALLY, us real voluptuous gorgeous unreplacable women can finally shine!!

    I wish I had more time, cause I can keep going on and on about this topic (which I think I’ve done…lol)! Anyway…Jill I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU!!! PLEASE DON’T STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!

    Oh yea… and as sooooooon as that comes out, I’m first in line. BTW, Ashley Stewart is my favorite store anyway. If you haven’t heard about Ashley Stewart…u need to come into the light. Ashley Stewart is OFF THE HOOK!! Their clothes are designed for us real women…and they are hip, fresh, new, and sexy as hell!! Extremely affordable!! Its like heaven on earth ( to all us divas out here).

    Jill couldn’t pick a betta store to represent.

    Aight…I’m really gone now. lol.

    Jill, God bless you girl. Do you know the cry from so many volunptous women and myself have been heard!! I have gotton so frustrated that I have considered a breast reduction. I am 42 years old and voluptous with very large and heavy breasts. I was so frustrated back in 1994 that I started a business to cater to women who had problems finding a bra to properly fit. I was unsuccessful because I did not have the financial backing that I needed. I had even had my bra size measured and would you believe I am a 431/2 size K cup. Even when I went on the internet to find my bra size, I did and order a couple but that problem with the shoulders and the bra riding in the back is still there. I am trying to loose weight because I get so tired of the weight of my breasts giving me headaches and shoulder and back pain but I have been weary because I let how I feel get to me. What you said is so true and I thank God again for your vision and your frustration that because of the pain you did and was able to do something about it. Because of who you are, a big industry company listened. Thank you and I cannot wait to purchase my first two. I have been looking to what size your line will carry. Currently I wear Goddess bra a size 48FF. That has been the only bra hear recently that I can wear for a while. I can’t wait for May!! The bra looks great and very sexy. Waiting and anticipating.

    I just purchased yout Live in Paris CD and I love it!I watched it about 4 times last night, I felt like I was there in Paris with you. I was singing and clapping, I was even yelling to the tv asking you to keep singing. You have the most beautiful voice and yet you are a humble person, that is the image of beauty.     Ok I just checked out the butterfly bra was ready to order it………….hoping they would have my size …they DONT ..you know ……..there are those of us out there that go past a tripple DDD can someone help me please? Im confused? Sigh I guess I will stick with wearing three bras and a sports bra ……..:( or do these companies really really pay attention to those of us out there that are suffering from illfitting and poorly constructed bras for the sista that is a GG FF HH II JJ or even an M? Im serious. Hope someone is really reading this and can do something about it

    I was so excited when I saw that someone was putting focus on the fact that better bras are needed for full figure and large breasted women. I have to say that the design of the bra looks great! Clear that a lot of thought was put into it. However, I am SO disappointed that the cup size only goes up to DDD. There are a million bras on the market for A-DDD cups. I agree that a better design is needed to address certain issues, but can a truly large bust get some love? You mention in your add that this was designed for women with larger then average cup size, but your bras only go to DDD. I beg you…. PLEASE look into adding additional sizes you your line. Bras cup sizes F, G, H, and even I are desperately needed. If you did so, I think you would be pleasanly surprised by the numbers of woman of all ages that would flock to purchase the bras.

    Jill!..girl, it’s all good about your new Butterfly BRA.. but please keep it real and extend your sizes to at least 48 or perhaps 50…most women of color are very top heavy…so DON’T do what Queen Latifah did ….what her line of bra’s in Walmart….stop at a small size and forgot about the WOMEN of Color!!!…thanks for listening and let your trail basic be a size 48 or 50…because that’s what UP!!!!! thanks for listing …pam

    Ms. Scott,
    I appreciate you’re bra effort but I you sizes don’t go past 44DDD , you’ve completely missed the women who have may to go the surgery route. I’m a 50 G and my options are barely any bras. You can get a 44 DDD at Wal-mart — you’re bra needs to be the option for us E-K women otherwise you’re barely helping any of us.
    Please consider providing larger sizes — We bigger breasted women do exist!

    Dear Jill, I watched the MandJ show and I saw you there with your new bra creation. I thought this was great. I have a daughter-in-law that is a 34DD or more and she is talking about having a beast reduction. I don’t suggest that but she is having so much back pain that she is considering the surgery. I am going to purchase her one the Buttterfly bras, maybe the bra will make a difference, and she will not have the surgery. Thank you!

    Thank you Jill. You have come up with a wonderful bra. I watched your video and the Butterfly Bra is just what I’ve been looking for. I’m a plus size woman who carries the rolls in my back. I’m sick of getting fitted for bras, but still having to constantly pull them down in the back to cover the roll.
    You are a life saver and I’m searching to see if Ashley Stewart in NC carries this bra now.
    I can’t wait to look better in my blouses!!!!

    I saw you on tv talking about your new butterfly bra. Last night I sent 45mins.to 1 hour looking on very website I could to find one or the place to buy it.
    I do not think that you should advertise something that wae to come on the market 5/15/08 but it is no where to be found. Or maybe you could tell me where. But I douht you have the time.

    Hello Jill Scott,

    When I saw the commercial for you to be on the Mike & Juilet show about a bra, I instantly tivo it. Then I caught it at work. Just looking at that bra made me feel like the heavens came down on earth. Everything that you said in the commerical is so true. I mean you took it right out of my mouth. I have been through so many bras. From Victorias Secret to the Oprah’s show about bras from Norstorms ($$$) and now to onehanesplace. As I gained weight over the years, it’s gotten worst. I am basically branded by these bras. No sundresses over here buddy. There’s only one problem, I am 34(36) DDD and AS starts at 38. I wanted to know if you think that they could come down a size or am I just short?

    I ordered the bra from Ashley Stewart online 2 weeks ago. I’ve been waiting and waiting. I called today only to find out it was a “pre-order” and the bra won’t be available until the 3rd week of June.

    I’m fine with that, but I do think that Ashley Stewart could have communicated that fact better. It doesn’t even say it on the website.

    Also, I hope they start offering the bra in the store, so that we can try it on first and save the $8.95 shipping cost.

    And when is the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency movie coming out in the US????

    I am a 55 yr. old female interested in modeling again. I am 5′11″ and weigh 200 lbs. I am a full-time christian. I applaud you for wanting to make a difference in women’s lives by creating the butterfly bra. I work part time in a dept. store and I happen to work in the lingerie area, women complain about wearing the wrong size bra. I am actually certified as a “Bra fitter”. At this stage in my life, if it is God’s will, I would like to do something fun. Are you looking for models?

    OMG!!!!!!!!! Jill Scott, i am so glad that you were thinking of your sistas when you designed this bra. I really love the support that it gives me along with the lifting. The double straps in the back are very comfortable and it an amazing cover up for the unwanted back fat..lol…

    For those of you who dont know that the bra is avalible at ashleystewart.com in the following colors: black, white, and mocho. The bra is avalible in straples and the original style. The highest the bra goes up to the 44DDD. They are going fast visit the website or call the number… the number is 1-877-221-9501.

    This message is for Marketing and or the Sales departments. I visited an Ashley Stewart location near me, which out of the 15 locations you have in Georgia 8 of them are within my range of travel. While in the store I inquired about the Butterfly Bra and was extremely sadden to hear that out of 15 stores in the state, ONLY one(1) location is performing fittings and that one location is the Stone Crest location, not a very convenient location for myself and my friends.
    Ok I’ve worked in retail so I know a lot goes into which store will sell certain items, but a “FITTING”, come on you guys have got to do better than that. I don’t even go to the side of town, and neither does any of my friends. Even the sales girl was surprised at the decision made to only have the fitting at one store. For consideration of sales, we are asking you to train other style associates to perform a bra fitting, I worked at Lane Bryant and it’s not hard to do a fitting. I will also be sending this to Jill Scott’s people to let them know how you all are NOT giving this bra the most opportunity it could possibly have. If we are going to put it out there for plus-size, we need to at least make it an equal playing field, and Stone Crest isn’t it.

    I went online to order your bra, But oops You do not carry my size im top heavy is there any particular reason you stopped at 44DDD. I hope you would consider making more sizes I wear a 46DDD.     Jill, I love your music, but now i have another reason to love you. The Butterfly Bra. I just received mine in the mail, and i is everything that you said it would be. The comfort is unbelieveable! The shape it gives me is outstanding. It makes me look like I have had some work done. Thank you so very much. I can never go back to my old bras now. I am going to throw them out, and order some buterfly bras. Thanks again for freeing me from bondage and pain. My old bras feel like straight jackets compared to yours. Keep up the great work.

    I think the bra is wonderful. Looks like it has great support. But it doesn’t come in my size. If you could make some for bigger cup sizes. Would be nice. I am a 36 or 38 H. I have a very hard time to find bra in a store.

    I wish that you could do something for us gals who have lost weight. I had bariatric surgery and have gone from a 24 to a 10, lots of skin left.

    I have not found a comfortable bra that takes care of the “overflow” under my arms. My breasts are smaller, so I cannot just buy a larger bra.

    I feel enormously better without the weight, but I am uncomfortable with the skin bulging against my shirt.

    If there were a small cup bra with high sides, it would be wonderful.

    Hey I was thrilled to hear about this new bra and went straight out to the stores to check them out. I admit they are well built and decently priced but I certianly wish you would expand your sizes. I am a top heavy 50 DDD and I would love to try one of your bras. Please let me know when or if extended sizes will be available. There are many of us top heavy women out here and we want to be cute too! Fnding a well buit, afforable bra that fits well is not easy.
