The lights went down and Jill walked out with bunch of Valentine’s Day balloons. She brought them on stage for somebody special… HER NEW LOVE…
She walked back to the drummer and gave him a smooch for all to see.. It was fierce…

Can’t thank you enough for the love you shared at the BE Women of Power conference. Your strength and spirit are amazing! Please, please, please record the last song you did! I was in tears. I think it was just for me. It was exactly the nourishment that my soul needed! It gave me what I needed to go back and do what god has brought me to my job to do! You are truly a blessing to us all. Observations from the Los Angeles show:
1) Raheem DeVaughn is serious about rocking a room. He took a room that was somewhat unfamiliar with him and made it his own. The painter on stage, the spoken word artist doing sign language during the set and the sign placards all worked…who’d a thunk it?
2) The wedding proposal in the audience before the house lights went down and Jill walked on stage received a “yes” from the bride to be and a bigger “yes” from everyone in the theater.
3) Jill IS nasty and loves a nasty audience. LMAO
4) My Love is about Jill being the “other woman”…WOW who knew???!!!
5) Jill’s in love again. Have you ever been happier for someone you’ve never even met?
6) Overheard in the men’s room after the show: “I love that Jill is supportive of brotha’s and doesn’t bash us like so many others.”
Also overheard: “What the hell was Lyzel’s issue that he couldn’t be happy coming home to Jill Scott!!!!!????”
Okay….that last one I said but everyone else present agreed that they wondered the same thing. LOL
I agree the L.A. show was fire. It was worth the trip from Oakland.

I knew it was something because in Phoenix this past Saturday, when you introduced the drummer, you paused a sigh and yeah you know what you did. I am not mad at you can’t wait till love finds me. You both make a great couple. You look so cute together and follow your heart. He is more than crown royal, “he plows inside as if he’s making beats”. The beat from the drum is like no other “wink”. You Go Jill Scott! The show was the best I have ever experienced and glad to know you will be coming back. You packed the house!
