Does this woman ever quit!?? She is on the road so much. We just saw her at the Hampton Jazz Festival in Hampton VA on June 28th. We fell in love with her all over again. She went on after Kenny G, I felt he stayed too long on stage, and took us on another emotional ride. Halfway through the show people were starting to leave, they were there since 6:30 – 7pm and it was going on midnite, i think that they were a bit worn out from sitting and cheering. We used that opportunity to get closer to the stage and really see Jill do her thing. I was in AWE!! I was so excited my knees were buckling! We were able to take some nice photos. She left the stage after saying thank you everyone started to leave. We used that chance to get directly in front of the stage. Five minutes later she came back sing the Do you Understand song, she was literally 10 feet in front of me!! She let us take pictures and was so Gracious. I felt as if I were going to faint!! I can not wait to see her in August when she comes back to Richmond. I have the tickets already!! WE LOVE YOU JILL!!
What about the North Sea Jazz Festival?
I love your music, your style and your intellegience! I am a fellow Aries woman myself , March 31, 1974 ( I read somewhere that you are an Aries) and I can really relate to all of your music! I love every album that you have made, every one of them is equally devine. It seems that every time you drop an album it seems to coincide with the way that I feel and is relative to the things that I am going through at that time. Thank you Ms. Jill Scott for your savyness and your definate talent, you are truely blessed, and your music is a true blessing to all of us that appreciate you, your soul, and your music.

The concert at Congress Hall in Warsaw was great experience. Jill is gorgeous, amazing and talented. At the end of concert she sang Do you understand together with the audience. Musicians stopped playing and we still were singing. It sounded like a choir. The crowd was impressed by her charizma. Although she is a celebrity, she doesn’t show off. I love HER! Hugs and kisses for all Jill Scott Fans!
After show at Congress Hall in Warsaw….my goosepimples will stay till Christmas. There is nothing better than The Real Thing.

What a band !!!! wow , saw one of your concerts in the hague ,at the north sea ,what a pitty about your drummer though ,after 3 songs it’s very clear he has the best technique , but the worst taste in dosage ……
I’m proud to say I Love Jill Scott I have all her music and I purchase them all at a real record store. can’t wait to see her in concert . Keep on keeping on sister.

Saw Jill for the first time live last night at Montreux Jazz Festival.
An awesome show. Cannot wait for her to tour Europe again.
I have her first 3 albums and it was fantastic to hear so many of my favourites given the live treatment.
Jill told us at the end of the concert that she had had some medical problems that day but had managed to overcome them – so glad she did, and Jill, keep in good health!

It is clear to me that there are people who do not have an understanding as to who Jill Scott really is. The Hampton Jazz Festival was a bit of a laid back performance and I had no qualms about that. Some folks said that it was more like a rock concert and not a soul concert. Jill has said time and time again that she is not afraid of rock, classical, jazz, R&B or country. She can do it all!! She infused rock and old school love joints during her performance and I got a kick out of it. She incorporated some Roy Ayers, Teena Marie, Isley brothers and Atlantic star in some of her songs. WE LOVED IT!! She even added DE LA SOUL Stake is High!!! Who else could have made that bridge between genres. On her Paris Live DVD she addes a bit of Latin Flavor to the son Whatever!! I LOVED IT!! I enjoy it all, music is supposed to be universal people, lets take it all in and enjoy the ride. Can’t wait for Live at Sunset in Richmond!!! Don’t stop what you are doing Jill!!!

The concert at Grand Rex in Paris yesterday was a Big disappointment for us.
My girlfriend and me have left the concert at the beginning because of the sound system which was very bad and too high !!!
We are very sad and we hope to see Jill soon…

Jill, the concert in PARI S yesterday was amazing ! Once again nothing compares to our queen of soul…. I mean I saw Erica Badu, Alicia Keys in Paris this month but …. Jill, it’s Jill.With her own way to be Jill : sexy, elegant, violent somtimes, The public was there and we all wanned to show how much we love her and wanned to thank her. Thank her because we really feel alive when she is singing, she is able to touch us deeply… It s just like if her voice carress our skin whenever she sings
i was bit disapointed by her attitude last night in paris she was very means to people who were taking pictures i ve seen her live many times in paris before and she never acted the way she did last night she even stop singing by threatened the audience to stop the show if they kept taking pictures of her i mean i understand that it can be annoying by having flashes all over your face but there a certain way to say it she needs to respect her fans i also felt for this young girl taking out by the security because miss scott told him that she direspected her by taking pictures this poor girl was crying and they also take a camera so jill this is what i have to remind you without your fans you are nothing so think about it cause i m not gonna come to your show anymore even though i still love your voice.

Karim, In London security gards gave out some piece of paper saying ” you can’t take picture of her “.In Paris I was surprised they didn’t do it before the show. I agree with her when she said ” I’ll wait until the cameras are over, I want you to be with me in this moment, I want you to be with me ” she is right when you are taking pictures or filming you don’t live the show. Ain’t no use coming to see her if it’s to enjoy the show afterward, when she is gone, throug your TV or computer, she is right. She is not having an attitude, she wants to take us with her. I mean do u remember the mood for “it s love” or “Golden” ? We were so into it. …with her. Why ? because we was 100 % with her not looking through our camera…. I saw her 3 times, this is the first time that she thanks the public so many times. I really think she was happy to share this moment with us. Go. Jill is the most simple artist with such talent I’ve never seen.
nathalie i know that she wanted to share the moment with us but she also has to understand how her fans felt when she arrived on stage they were so existed to see her maybe it was the first time for some of them so i know how they felt i did the same when i first saw her performing in paris 3 years ago.and even at the end of the show she called someone backstage while she was dancing, the guy smile at her because he thought that she was calling him to enjoy the moment with us but no she point her finger at someone 5 rows behind me and asked the backstage guy to grab his camera come on please jill the diva attitude doesn t match with u girl and the last thing i have to say i was in morroco in may to see whitney houston live in rabbat she was amazing and very down to earth

Jill has done it again!
After being tremendously disapointed when Jill cancelled her concert back in December due to ill health, I went to see Jill in concert last night and she was greater than could be imagined.
The way she connected with the audience, her vocals, the way she uses her voice as her instrument and makes you feel as though she is singing to you personally. What more could you possibly want from a concert?
The energy from the audience was positive and people seemed to have forgotten their problems and where taking in every note she sang and move she made.
Jill please bring some love back to London soon, we need it!

Waited 4 years to see Jill. Finally got the chance last night in Brixton.
I think I’m a genuinely changed person – never have I had the pleasure of listening to someone so inspirational. One of the best nights of my life, if not the best.

I just want to say I love you Jill now more than ever and have now managed to turn my husband into a Jill fan too!!!! We saw you in Brixton last night and you were wonderful. You were warm, real and gorgeous and we loved the “gettin’ you laid” section!!!!!! No matter how long you’re on stage it never seems long enough and when you sang the first line of your first song we forgot and didn’t care that we had been standing in the rain (typical London!) for hours. Thank you for throwing off your shoes and coming out in your flats!! thank you for the encore and thank you for your interaction and conversation. I don’t know if you read these comments but want you to know you are loved in London!!!! Keep coming back!

The first time I saw Jill was in Zürich, last year, and it was a brilliant concert, but tonight was oh so special! I was center stage, second row, right at her feet…

Ms. Scott.I am not one of your biggest fans but am your biggest fan, but of all of thr jazz greats Billie Holiday is my favorite.There are rumors that Jennifer Hudson may play Billie- although Jennifer Hudson has a beautiful voice she is not seasoned enough to sing her music.If you look at her photos you will notice there is a point in her life where you are the spitting image of Lady Day.Ms. Scott do this part. Jill you are my most favorite female artist. I have shared your music with several people who have never heard your music or heard of you. They too have become die hard fans immediately. Keep being real. When my husband and I step together (Chicago dance) we love to step to your music. It is sensual and real. By the way, keep up the acting too. We enjoyed you in Tyler Perry’s movie. Attended my first Jill Scott Concert in Richmond Va last night. My first night out with the girls since my relocation and retirement . Left NYC after over 55 years to move to Va and loved every moment of
the show. Note:we sat for two and one half hours in the hot sun 95 + degree. Jill sang and sang for over an hour and a half. She was the best female
performer I’ve seen since Chaka Khan in concert.
I love her vibe. The crowd stood for over an half hour dancing and singing along with her. She was
fabulous. Can’t wait to see her again, I spend my money on lots of shows and concerts but I truly got more than my monies worth. Jill keep it going black sister you make me have to say” Hate on Me” (Smile)

i was waiting for a long time the concert in Paris,
but i was disappointed by the sound: the sound was too loud (the bass guitar and the drums especially), so it was impossible to listen the melodies: in a word i’m sorry to say it was a “cacophony”. Do they have a sound engineer to regulate the sound ? I love so much Jill Scott these days and i’m sorry about that.
