   This has been the year of Jill Scott!! Within a span of 5 months we were able to see Jill Scott 3 times and what experiences they were!!! We enjoyed each and every one of her performances. I am looking forward to more in the future, so please hurry back to us Jill. WE NEED YOU!!!

   In response to Alexys Nykole I had my daughter draw 3 posters for the concert in Richmond. Throughout the show I would stand up and flash my signs after each song. I saw that Jill was reading them, we were pretty close to the stage. She finally said ” Thankyou for the signs Pookie!” She was so sweet and graceful, I ate it up!! I was able to meet Re Ra, DW and Spanky after the show. I even took a few photos. Even though I was not able to meet Jill I had the greatest time. I can email the pics of the posters if you would like.

   Dear Jill,
   I am a huge fan of Alexander McCalls’ – detective agency series. His depiction of “traditionally built” women allowed to see myself in yet another light. I can’t wait to see the entire series. Reading the series made me long to visit Botswana. I am saddened at the current events but I think you will bring a light through the role of Precious. Good Luck and be safe.

    One of the best and truly definitive artist of this world. An artist in the greatest sense of the word. Everything she graces upon makes my heart and mind sing with joy…that’s her job and her purpose. We love you in the mediterranean Ms. Scott come visit and relax with us when you take a break. Let’s read Hafiz and have a laugh with God…until then enjoy Gaberone and all parts of Botswana.
