“Hate On Me” was the first single from Jill Scott’s new album and “My Love” was the second single. Tell the family, the fans and the label which song YOU want for the 3rd single.

Commercially - I think ‘Whenever You’re Around’ would be a better song. I looooove ‘Just Wanna Be Loved’ as well (that is my anthem right now)
I could hear WYA - on all stations like kiss, wbls - it is just a great jam - I also think a video should be done as well!
Or even a live video from the tour perhaps!
I honestly love all four songs dearly.
But I think Jill can hit the ears that needs to listen, because she has that gift and such a soulful voice.
I really think her next sinle should be “How it make you feel”
Men around the world need to hear that one. The message speaks in volumes and in every native tongues. And plus it shows how versatile Jill can be, aside from r &b and jazz.

I love your music and poetry and your voice soooooooo much!!!! You really just don’t know, I even went to your concert in Philadelphia at the liacouras center, which was amazing. I was thrilled that my first concert was with you and musiq soulchild. I get chills every time you do that song “He loves me” that note opera note at the end, ahhhh. I just love it and I don’t even like opera, but if you were doing a opera performance I know I would cross the seas just to get to my seat. Alright, I’m going to stop and breath a little. Just… please don’t stop your music and your words are my natural high. Oh and I’m from North Philly too, Chadwick and Cumberland.
Difficult choice but think it has to be “Whenever You’re Around”….although I think my number one choice would be an extended version of “Crown Royal”! Love that song!

I think that “How it make you feel” should be the next single. The reason for that is, I think our brothas need to hear that. It is a very powerful song and a lot of brothas love, adore, and enjoy listening to Jill. They really need to hear this and let the word spread.

I voted for “Wanna Be Loved,” but was leaning more towards “Whenever You’re Around.” I shoulda just went with my first mind and voted for “Whenever…” because I really do like “Whenever…”

The song ‘Whenever You’re Around has the real Chicago Steppers beat, plus the words are (of course) emotionally narrative.
It is so easy for me to see characters of this drama.

The whole album is incredible. This is the original sound that music has been looking for.
I think the next single should have been ” ALL I”
but given the options I would choose “Wanna be Loved”
None of these songs are the best choice because Insomnia and All I are not on their so it is not a fair chance for the best song to become the single.
Ok I am not trying to know…but wasn’t ‘All I’ her 3rd single? like wasn’t there a video for it too? anyways I think that song would be great …that and wanna be loved would be good.

Chicago is known for a form of dance called “steppin” and this has a groove for this style of dance.
I have always been a Jill fan however I say you this weekend 3/22/08 at The Chicago Theater and I fell in love all over again!!! You are truely and inspiration to me and all women!!!! I love the whole album but my pick would be WYA. Keep doing your thang girl!!!!!

Everyone needs to hear this song. People think cause I’m here with you, were cool, but please get over yourself, if you don’t put in any emotional or physical investment in the relationship, it will get cold and die!
Whenever you’re around…I like the complexity of the song, it warns all in relationships to be present in your lover mind as well in your lovers presence. It’s deep, you can always see more visually each time you hear it. Enough said, it’s something for your head.

I heard Ms. Jill on the radio this morning and I caught the tail end of Whenever You’re Around. I immediately wanted to find out where I could get this song. I was totally engaged and wanted to buy. Excellent song!
