   i love the interview jill is so funny and down to earth she had me laughing when she told tom not every song on my new cd was bases on my breakup i do have a life outside of that she had me cracking up jill is so cool and i’m loveing her new cd since i got it at the record store on sept 21 now i’m going to virgin record store today to get the deluxe edition so i ahve the original and deluxe and i’m counting down the days to see ;why did i get married’ my songs are [come see me] whenever your around] how it make you feel] that’s the black anthem for black females going threw something with their man i play this cd everyday it just lifts me up being proud to be a beatiful full figure women you go jilly jill love ya always from dana #1 fan to the end

   I loved the interview with Jill. She has a wonderful, down-to-earth personality. The one thing that bothered me was how Tom Joyner was so nosy, and geared all of her songs to her personal life. She is human, and as she said, every song does not have to be based on her personal experiences. She is singing for her fans.

   I love Jill Scott and as always she was engaging, funny and exciting to listen to. I got the new CD the first day it came out, I couldn’t wait. This new album is so so lovely and classic Jill Scott. There are about 4 favorite cuts but Insomnia, Celibacy Blues and Wanna Be Loved are my most listened to tracks. Love, love, Love this album. You go Jill!! Beautiful.

   I really enjoyed listening to the interview with Tom Joyner. He was a bit overbearing regarding her personal marital issues, however, Jill being the light that she is took it in stride and kept it moving. I love listening to or watching Jill interview. It seems that we don’t get a chance to see or hear from the Jill Scott outside of her beautiful music. She seems so real. In regards to her marriage breakup, and this too shall pass. Jill being the strong spirit that she is will move on to bigger and better things…..Keep pushing forward…I can’t wait unti the day I get to meet Ms. Scott in person..

   Oh my God Jill you have done it again. This new cd is banging and I love to listen to music that iI dont have to skim through to find the “good” songs becasue your music is good from the beginning to end. To inspire me I love you through your music and as a young black woman you are a postivie role model for me.Thank you and keep doing what you do, and Im aleready ready for the next album.

   I just wanted to say that I love you Jill Scott you always come through musically and lyrically for me. and it’s always right on time. Listening to your music really helps me to press on. Thanks for all your inspiration..

   I love the new cd and rushed out @7:30 am to get it on the 25th….this cd is running very close to the first one! I agree the Tom was trying to get all up in her business but as a professional she kept it light and moving…showing that we are all human and things happen but it gets better over time. Peace and blessings…keep doing you Jill no matter what!!!!! Can’t wait for the movies!

   I am such a fan, of the person and the work because Jill is Jill. Singing softly, rapping (now), acting, she still remembers those roots in Philly. Tom Joyner had to take a few breathes to introduce all that this blessed talent does, and you could still hear her blushing after each accolade. Not a diva, but a talent doing what she loves, “the real thing”……Jill

    Jill, u no u can’t do no wrong to me. As always u were exception, no surprise but, Joyner he does strike the nerve. Not to diss my man or anything(even tho I just did, oops) , can he learn to do an interview. I am so proud of you being quick on your feet, touche’, you do get props. Thank you for the censorship, must needed and appreciated, see everybody don’t know everything!. What I appreciate about you is your freshness towards your divorce, ,,,,,,,,so Jill were you going thru your divorce when this/that was happening?…….well, yes/no, you know I do have a life outside my marriage. Classic, academy award and emmy material! Yes!!!!!! You know you bad girl, keep up the good work!

    I can not stop listening to “The Real Thing” on my ipod. It’s sooo addictive and I can relate to every song. I love it from beginning to end. I can’t wait to experience Jill Live!!!
