I had to buy the deluxe edition on walmart.com tho i’m in london currently and the album doesn’t come out her until the 8th. im an immense fan and am very excited about this promising debut. my only regret is that the album did well displaying a jill that im not familiar with. i feel like ya’ll could have put her in her natural hair and she should do just as well. she shouldn’t have to cover up her naps for success. hidden beach do you think artists can only sell if they reject their natural beauty? just questions, not hating cuz i could never hate on her!

All I have to say is Jill keep making that good music. You are the only artist that still touches me to my heart everytime you sing. This album is another classic. This is the best R&B/Neo Soul CD that is out today.

This album is amazing. (I bought the deluxe edition the day it came out). I am a 16 year old guy and I can’t stop listening to it. At home, on the bus, before I go to sleep… it is truly music to live to. I love all of your albums (plus the live and collabo ones, of course) but this one has to be my favorite, and not only because it is new. I feel like you gave your listeners a chunk of your heart and your mind when you recorded this album, and that really sets you apart from the rest at the end of the day. No disrespect to Keyshia Cole, who I love, but you really deserved to be #1. But I guess we’ll have to save that spot for another date, probably when people finally wake up when the Grammy nominations come around.
If they deny you album of the year for this, just know that it really IS THE album of the year.
P.S.: I cannot wait to see you in Why Did I Get Married? I’ve seen you in the trailer and I can already tell you are going to deliver a stunning performance.
