I have just loved you creativity and your style. It is the first time i have seen and listen to your songs -3 days ago!! You are very creative and i LOVE it, be blessed. More so the beauty of your voice and your song relaxes my mind and soul.
This has got to be Jill’s best work yet!!! I mean I really liked the other two album’s but, this one is taIking to and for me. I love strong and deep too, so I know where you’re coming from. If I had to pick – my past favorites are “Golden” and “Free”. See my life too is in transition (not from divorce in my marriage) but divorce from the negative part of myself. When you’re a true romantic and poet there is always something to write about and someone to shower our deep love an committment on.

hi i just got done watching the show it was so nice seeing jill she looked real pretty but i didn’t like the way oprah did the interview and treat her guest she barely asked jill questions everything was on she kept saying oh janet the superstar evry thing was about janet and that wasn’t right jill is a better classy lady and singer then she is she could have ask jill more questions it was like she wasn’t there oprah didn’t even say to jill oh congradulation on your new cd ‘the real thing’ or anything i think every one should email oprah show telling her that wasn’t right the way she treated jill she deserves just as much you treat your guest fair not every question and attention on janet do you’ll agree with me about this did you’ll notice that on the show but my girl jill still carried herself as a lady i will be seeing the movie only because of her from dana
It was great seeing Goddess Jill on Oprah…I agree with Dana about Oprah’s inequitable interview; however, it may be the editing…who knows. The bottom line is the Goddess was classy, elegant and of course radiant. Since today’s show was all about the film, I guess the new album could not be mentioned. As Jill mentioned though the Universe allows everything to manifest in divine time. I am very excited because seeing the show led me to this site and purchasing the album is on the top of my list for tomorrow. Continue to let your light shine so that others know it is okay to let theirs shine as well. Peace.
I enjoyed all three guests on the show. I wish Oprah only had Jill Scott on the show so I can hear more about her. The clip of Jill Scott’s character was so sad! Now I would like to see the movie.
YOU looked fabulous on Oprah, just between you and me I was most looking forward to seeing you. I was praying that there would be an opportunity for to you sing, but honestly Jill you are a beautiful song no matter what. I love how you encompass so much of who you are all the time. LOL it’s not that deep I simply mean to say you seem to be aware of who you are and how to just be you. I think you style yourself, if you have a stylist who is it? Also who makes that great dress you had on today, on Oprah? Jill, you are the BOMB girl! I must say, Oprah is my girl, we share the same birthday and all…but she had me heated yesterday! I did NOT like the fact that she barely talked to Jill and did not ask her about her cd. All that time spent talking to Janet Jackson was unnecessary. Janet was the past, Jill is the future! I hope Jay Leno respects better than Oprah did…so disappointing but as always, Jill looked awesome and was beautiful! DO YOUR THANG GIRL!
i saw it yesterday and JILL SCOTT looked absolutely pretty her hair was cute her make-up was the bomb the only thing that bothered me was that Oprah spent all her time talkin to tyler perry and janet jackson when JILL is one of the main main characters. but other than that i enjoyed see her she was LOOKIN 2 GOOD

As always, your presence is amazing…Each opportunity I get, I jump at the chance to experience everything dealing with ‘Jilly from Philly’, but I was very disappointed in the way this Oprah appearance played out. I mean, does she not know how truly special you are? No disrespect to Janet or Tyler, but we’ve seen her and JD on the show expressing their love, as well as Tyler talking about his house and so on, but how about giving some attention to our girl instead of having Janet pick out a dress? What was THAT about? Or maybe I’m just tripping, because obviously even Oprah can’t appreciate and understand the magnitude of Ms. Jill. After that show, I felt cheated, and I remembered why Oprah runs right through me.
I’m loving the frankness and the love being expressed for you. I t-totally agree Oprah was unfair, it was clear there was several other preplanned agendas and words were put in your mouth, but honey like I tried to say before you shined anyway. Seriously please dont mistake this for worship but I want to go over detail for detail of how you handled the whole deal, cause that is a huge lesson for me. You’re class act, and you speak volumes even in your silence. Remeber what you meant to us who were older than 25 when you first came out it was like finally true talent is released. you get better and better and thank you for rising to your call no matter the constant obstacles. Alos btw loved the Essence article, Terry could have taken up the whole magazine it was great.

EVEN IN YOUR SILENCE (no fault of your own, you were barely addressed during the episode), I FELT JUST WHO YOU ARE. You handled it so well, so gracefully, so graciously. You know what the Universe has lined up for you, and so you coasted through it with a kindness that is so lacking in the world.
I got your new CD and I plan on seeing the movie. I will try to get tickets to your show when you come to Atlanta. You are touched by GOD, and there is no greater power then that. Continue to be who you are – beautiful, divine, inspiring and real….
I enjoyed the oprah show. I just felt like Janet got more attention and I hated that!! That’s not to take away from Janet’s part, she’s one of my favorite artists…but I feel that Jill’s part was so much more intense….at any rate, I’m excited to see the movie and LOVE the new album!!!
The real thing is just that. I listen to it at least twice a day, and it gives me what I need to get through it.

Hey what going down my beautiful brown nubian sister! Hope all is well. Saw u on miss O’s show, she DID NOT do u justice! Yes ALL of u were there 2 promote the new movie, not just tyler & janet!! It was in my opinion a VERY unbalanced interview. The least she could have done was 2 mention ur new piece of work (cd). Cause when it comes down 2 it-it’s all about promotion anyway! It’s not like u just came on the scene yesterday. Just keep on doing what ur doing, being the beautiful & humble LADY that i know u r. By the way, the pic on the cover of ur new cd is o SO,SO SEXY!! LAWD HAVE MERCY!
I enjoyed the interview, and just seeing my two all time favorite artists was great, Jill and Janet WOW I can’t wait until this movie opens, the clips of Jill’s acting performances were moving to say the least, but I was a little upset with Tyler and how he acted like a groupie with Janet, now please don’t misunderstand me, I LOVE Janet also, but what disturbed me most was the fact that he was seated in the middle of the ladies and when talking to Oprah he leaned in toward s Janet and slightly turned his back to Jill, leaving her out of their conversation, which in turn kept her out of a lot of the frames, until Oprah talked to Jill her camera time was limited, since Tyler was President of the Janet Jackson fan club that day and he had to buy her a new Valentino dress on camera, it limited the time of talking about the movie. Whenever a movie cast is interviewed all guests should get the same treatment or at least seem like they liked each other, even though Janet said it was the most fun and everyone got along, the Oprah interview seemed like two seperate shows, first Tyler and Janet on Oprah then Jill Scott on Oprah. For all who reads this please know that I am not a hater and I love Jill, Tyler, Janet and Oprah, I just get bothered when I feel that someone who is as talented and as beautiful as Jill, get a little shunned by what some may call a mega-star, every star that twinkles in the indigo night gleams just as bright.

I have seen you perform numerous times, both live and televised, and you have truly inspired me to make the most of my life. I saw the interview and was very dissapointed! I thought 80% of the interview was about Ms.Jackson and Mr. Perry. The camera was primarily focused on those 2. It was like Jill was just over in the corner somewhere! I think Oprah could have steered the interview so all the stars of the movie had somewhat equal amount of air time. The only thing she asked her was about wearing a fat suite and about her failed marriage. Jill you are SO much more than that! Thank God I am already a huge fan, otherwise I would leave that interniew saying, “Who is Jill Scott?” (LOL)
I watched the ophrah show the day you were on really to see you cause I was proud that you were in the movie and then you were not given the light that you so deserve and I was disappointed that ophrah did not at least give equal interviews with you all instead she focused on janet and tyler Oprah should start her on janet fan club the look in here eyes while talking to janet was stalkerish……..lol…….I love you jill keep it 1oo

CHEATED!….Sorry but I was expecting way more from the Oprah show as Jill graced it with her presence. Who was interested in seeing Janet and her beau…..Jermaine…ugh! I wasn’t…..don’t make sense anyway. The camera guys didn’t give her enough face time and Oprah kept the show only about her boy….Tyler….I love him too….but point was JILL WAS IN THE HOUSE!

Oprah…wow, what can I say…I haven’t been feeling her and how she treats certain guests for years…but hey, that’s Oprah. I’m no Tyler Perry fan either. His writing is trite and a repeat of everything before it. Jill, you are the most incredible artist. I find it sad that Ms. O missed the opportunity to share your talent with the world. You’re just off the meter these days. 1st the CD, which I’ve played the hell out of, then your portrayal of Sheila in the movie. I don’t want to ruin it for those who haven’t seen it, but you had 3 scenes in the movie that had us shouting “Rewind”! Okay, more like 4 due to Sheila’s eyes.

Jill Scott IS the absolute real deal. As for Oprah – I’ve just about had it with her fake niceness which conveniently evaporates when she meet’s any woman who is better looking, classier or more talented than herself. Despite all her charitable works I cannot really respect her ‘cos at the end of the day she can be as petty and mean as some women. And Jill Scott IS more talented, gorgeous and classier than Janet (nipple-bearing trying to boost my sagging career) Jackson. Thats why Oprah didn’t wan to know. I’ve no time for Oprah.
