   Jill, thank you. Thanks for letting yourself completely be free and honest because WE need it out here. I am too an artist by heart and night but a marketing specialist by day, lol! I don’t feel bad about my life or anything going on in it when I am listening to “The real thing.” I’m OK with what people say about New Orleans’ people when I listen to “Hate on me,” thank you!!! I wish the absolute best to you and I know you will continue to grow. You are like the rest of us who are normal, regular people… you just happen to be on TV!!! I love your authenticity!!!

   I am so very proud of you ,just as proud as if I were your Mother.Your smile is warm enough to soothe a weary soul and your voice ,I believe , if it were heard at the same time by both sides, would end the war.    No matter what stage that you are on , no matter what show that you appear on, no matter what cd that you sing on, the people are blessed by you.

   I cannot even find the words to express the way you make me feel when you sing. I dont care what you sing it truly lifts my spirits everytime. God has truly given us a gift in your talents and in your spirit. Just finished watching you on Ellen(of course you tore it up ! ) and cant wait to see you in the movie. Thank you for sharing your soul and your gifts with us. And for letting us know who Jill Scott is.

    The only issue I had and have with the ellen show is that it wasn’t viewable on the site, and still isn’t findable.

Just because you seem so real and touchable like that girlfriend that you know is gonna give it to you straight regardless to whether or not you really wanna hear it b/c she really cares and has your back.
