Hey there LADY,

I just wanted to tell you how much you move my soul…. I am 22 years old and my parents say i have an old soul and I understand why now. I have been a fan since your first cd and after I have fallen in love with your soul. I feel like your music has given me strength to get past my darkest days, it has made me smile when people would look at me and ask why, it has gotten me past break ups ( SLOWLY SURELY) it has given me power ( The real Thing_ IM the real thing in stereo) it has brought me closer with friends because we share the same love of how your music moves us, it has brought me close with my own mother because when we sing your music its something about a spiritual connection that we have when we sing your lyrics to one another, songs like magic number has given me confidence, it has made me smile on past memories that may have brought me down. ( I THINK ITS BETTER THAT I TELL YOU NOW ) , I feel like through your music I can do whatever, I appreciate your lyrics they are deep like How Would It make YOu Feel . Your music gets me out of bed ( jumped out of bed took a shower dressed..=) ) I smile just thinking about the melody , your music makes me want to call family ( FAMily REUNION) . Your music is so poetic is speaks to my mind warms my heart and uplifts my spirits it is the direct connect to my soul. I recite your music over and over LOve rain down on me down on me …..I loved your poetry on Def poetry jam. Everything you do I love. I even attended the concert in philly with you and maxwell My friend and I sat in the section where there were older people and they could not believe that us being so young knew every lyric to the songs. My deepest wish is to meet you and tell you this face to face and get to see you live in concert ( seen it on tv but it wont amount to live ) . I wish you the best in your career and I will always be a supporter of yours. I swear our spirits were friends in past life the way Im so intuned with you.

Ms. Scott, did you star in the HBO production of “The no.1 Ladies Detective Agency”?. If so, is there any hope of this series being continued? I loved it as did many of my friends.

hey jill,

man i love your work…i have all you music of course. the first time i saw you live – you opened for prince in philly…i have been a fan since..you voice is incredible..you are keeping the philly sound hot..
i love your HBO show as well…Q- will the show come back? I am waiting. You all have a good concept and great cast…..if i can do anything to help HBO bring it back for more seasons let me know…

oh yea… when are you going to perform a Tom Joyner’s fantastic voyage cruise…i would love to see you perform on the ship…

I keep checking the website for new show times. It is a dream of mine to see you live. I was ready to fly down to Arizona to see you at Lilith Fair but you didn’t end up playing. You tell me when, and I’ll be there.
